Fugitives Drift Country Lodge
Location
Fugitives Drift overlooks the Battlefield of Isandlwana. The 2500ha reserve is 8km from Rorke's Drift, on the Buffalo River in KwaZulu Natal and 56km south east of Dundee. 17km of river frontage includes the famous site of Fugitives Drift where Lts Melvill and Coghill lost their lives in 1879 trying to save the Queens Colour of their Regiment, winning the first two, posthumous Victoria Crosses in history.

Our flagship tours to Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift are led by registered tour guides that are superb storytellers, making the history of that day come alive. Its an experience not to be missed and never forgotten.
Facilities
Accommodation is offered at two establishments, the Lodge and The Guest House. The Lodge has 8 twin en suite rooms and The Guest House has 6 en suite rooms. Our newer sister lodge Three Tree Hill Lodge at Spioenkop has 6 en suite rooms and deals with the Anglo Boer War.
